Ankara is African wax prints. It is essentially colorful vibrant designs industrailly producted on cotton. Authentic Ankara displays the same color intentisty on the material on both sides of the fabric. Therefore you should be able to flip the fabric inside out and still seem the same pattern with the same color intensity.
